Davos, January 2027.

Every January, Davos becomes a global meeting place around the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. Alongside it, many independent events, dinners and gatherings take place across the town, convened by companies, investors and institutions. Davos Catalyst is one of them: an independent, privately organised summit, not affiliated with the World Economic Forum.

In the days before the Annual Meeting, the town is quieter. People and venues are easier to reach, schedules are less compressed, and there is time for real conversations — before the Annual Meeting week becomes crowded and every hour is contested.

Davos Catalyst takes place from 12 to 15 January 2027, with up to 200 participants. Participation is by invitation or application only.

The programme is organised around four themes: AI infrastructure, enterprise AI, sovereign AI and AI and capital. Private deal rooms and one-to-one meetings complement the conversations, and participants are fully hosted throughout.

Zurich Airport is the usual gateway. The train reaches Davos in around two and a half hours, with a change in Landquart; road transfers are also common.

Accommodation in January is scarce and should be arranged early. The Delegate Resident Pass includes a residence in Davos.

Expect winter conditions. Warm clothing and shoes suitable for snow are advisable outdoors; business attire is customary indoors. The venue is on the Promenade in Davos Platz.
